Hyeri Gifts Her Bag to U.S. Store Clerk During New York Trip: “It Suited Her Better Than Me”

Singer and actress Hyeri recently showed her generous heart during a trip to the United States by gifting one of her favorite bags to a store employee she met in New York.

In a new video uploaded to her YouTube channel on March 25, titled “My Bedroom Taken Over by Clothes! The Secret Behind 10-Year-Old Items…”, Hyeri gave fans a look into her personal space while sharing an endearing travel anecdote.
As she introduced her walk-in closet — formerly her bedroom — Hyeri explained that her love for fashion led to her bed being replaced by rows of clothes. “It’s the largest room in our house. As you can see, there are really so many clothes, so I had to take out the bed and decided the clothes would be the owners of this room,” she said, adding that she had called in a professional organizer seven to eight months ago to help manage the overwhelming wardrobe.

While organizing her bags, which she keeps sorted by brand with visible logos for easier access, Hyeri suddenly recalled a heartwarming story. “I used to frequently carry this very casual white bag from RAIVE. I went to the Stussy store in New York. And the girl at the Stussy store said my bag was really pretty. So I gave her my bag,” she said. “It just seemed like it would suit her so well. Haha… Because she was really hip. Her styling was really hip as well. It seemed like it would look better if she carried it instead of with my outfit that day.”
Footage included in the video shows the moment Hyeri handed over the bag, visibly touching the store employee, who responded with joy and a warm hug.
The rest of the video highlighted Hyeri’s ongoing struggle with space due to her extensive fashion collection. She joked about her shoes “invading” other shelves and admitted she has so many hoodies, sweatshirts, and hats that it might be time to move. “There are so many clothes I’ve never worn, you know? Really, really many,” she confessed.
Hyeri’s candid stories and generous gesture have charmed viewers once again, proving that her warmth extends far beyond the screen.
